Last week, there were rumors that Chinese Manufacturer ZTE was preparing to introduce a large screen smartphone. The device was found after Chinese Ministry of Communication approved the device to go on sale in China.
But no sources reported any real/expected image of the device. Luckily, leaked images of the device have been found. The ZTE U956 MT6589 device is expected to come with a 5-inch with 720×1280-pixel display. It is packed with a 1.2 GHz dual-core MT6577 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, and powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.1 mobile operating system.
The device has a 5-inch display and a Quad-Core Processor like ZTE Grand S. The device is expected to be available for 1499 Yuan ($240). Since the device is an MTK (MediaTek) phone, the device will have dual-SIM support for China’s 3G standard, TD-SCDMA and GSM. The ZTE U935 seems to be a China only device as the device is only suitable on China Mobile TD-SCDMA network.
There’s no word about the availability of the ZTE U956 phone yet. We’ll let you know when we have regarding this information.
