Finally, Samsung has announced the Galaxy S III handset for Canada and bragged about its 2GB RAM. Yes, Canada versions will feature 2GB RAM. The particular smartphone made its appearance at NTT DoCoMo in China. There’s still no official word on the U.S. release of the Galaxy S III. Hopefully, U.S. versions will also get 2GB RAM. Earlier this month, LG announced the new Optimus LTE2 with 2GB RAM and it is now available to purchase n South Korea. The manufacturer has also confirmed that the Canadians can start buying it on June 20th.
Samsung has confirmed Canada will get GSIII versions featuring 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, which perform well better than the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core in some benchmark tests. Canada based Videotron has already confirmed to release the Galaxy S III on June 20th and according to a reliable source, T-Mobile U.S. is also getting it on the same day.
Other specifications of the Galaxy S III are including 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 16GB/32GB internal memory, 8MP camera with zero shutter lag/Burst Shot/Best Photo features, S beam, S Voice, 2100mAh battery and and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box.
