First live photos of Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra shared online, spotted selling in a retail store

     

Samsung is gearing up to announce its next flagships, and the lineup is likely to comprise two smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung has already revealed a fair bit about the upcoming flagships, with recent teasers showing off the camera design and boasting about its improvements. It already also started taking reservations for each model with some decent offers. Most of the Samsung fans would be rooting up for the top-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra as soon as it launches In advance of the upcoming launch, we’ve already gotten a pretty good view of what the upcoming Ultra model looks like from the multiple leaked renders and official press images in the past few weeks. Today, we might be getting a glimpse of the real unit of Galaxy S23 Ultra as well.

You know, it’s always better to have some live images, as those are much harder to fake. A bunch of the Galaxy S23 Ultra retail units were spotted in a local store called KM CELL STORE in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, and real-life units in photos posted to Twitter by various user over Twitter and Facebook.

As you can see, the photos merely confirm what we’ve seen earlier in the renders and press images. But, Samsung logo is missing on the bottom of the device. Fake or Legit? What’s your opinion?

Just like we saw, the handset has a boxy design like its predecessor, showing off individual circular modules housing on the back what we might assume to be a primary 200MP HP2 ISOCELL sensor, wide-angle, tele photo, and periscope zoom lens at the bottom. Interestingly enough, the front side of the device hasn’t been captured. You can also see there are a few photos showcasing an unpackaged pink unit.

We are looking at four color versions of the device here: black, green, cream, and pink. The S Pen also appears in one of the shots, which  doesn’t appear to be noticeably different from the previous-generation. As per the source, four units contain the 12GB RAM+512 GB storage model of the Galaxy S23 Ultra are ready for immediate selling in that store.

Alleged US pricing, and full specs’ sheet of the device have ready been detailed recently. On the display front, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to rock a 6.8” 2X Dynamic AMOLED with 1440p resolution, 500 ppi and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. The smartphone in these images has 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM. Other memory and storage options will include 16GB RAM, and 256GB/1TB. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will run One UI 5.1 on top of Android 13, and there’s will be a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging speeds.

The smartphone’s rear camera setup is slated to offer a 200 MP primary sensor with OIS, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 3x telephoto camera which helps the device delivering 8K 30fps, 4K 60fps, FHD 60fps video recording. It also has 100x space zoom capabilities. For selfies, it should get an improved 12MP autofocus selfie camera with 4K HDR video recording. Remaining specs are including Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, UWB, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Satellite connecting capabilities in emergencies.

No price is shared along with the share. Samsung will unveil the next flagship phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1st in San Francisco.
