Huawei MediaPad Confirmed To Run Android Honeycomb OS

A few days ago, we’ve reported that Huawei MediaPad is set to launch on June 20th, but we were not sure about the Android OS version for this tablet. Huawei has dedicated an official page on Facebook for the upcoming MediaPad tablet. But unfortunately, the details are still scarce about this tablet. By seeing the above screenshot, and the Android menu at the bottom of the screen, we can conclude that the Huawei MediaPad will be arriving with the tablet optimized operating system, the Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and the screen size of the tablet would be 7-inch. But, we are not sure yet whether or not the MediaPad will be having the newly unveiled Android 3.1 Honeycomb.

The first commercial ad of the Huawei MediaPad revealed out the The back side of the tablet which is sporting a black bezel. There is a camera with unknown resolution at the rear side of the tablet, and it is also having a headphone jack plus a few ports. All the other details of the Huawei MediPad tablet are still mysterious as of now. The Chinese manufacturer is affirming that it is "guaranteed to transform your entertainment experience" and also mentioned that Mediapad as "Huawei Device’s smartest, smallest and lightest tablet ever". We’ve to wait and see if this 7-inch tablet will give tough competition to other 10-inch Android powered tablets like Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, and etc,.
