Several rumors have been pointing that LG will deliver a Google Nexus phone this year. We have been reporting the possibility of a LG Phone to be the next Google Nexus. More recently, there have been reports that a version of the LG Optimus G will be the next Nexus. Well supporting the previous reports, a number of leaked photos have been posted at XDA Developers forum today. The photos are of the LG E960, a variant of the Optimus G.
The leaked images of E960 is very much similar to the LG‘s recently-announced Optimus G flagship, which is as per expectation, the next Google nexus. The phone features a 4.7-inch 1280×768 display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and a 13-megapixel primary camera.
It image of the About screen shows the model number as “Fully JellyBean on Mako” and the Model number as E960. We would like to point out that Mako is a Shortfin shark, and as Google Android Devices are named after a fish, may be the E960 is the next Google Nexus phone.
Droid Life also reported eelier that this LG Optimus G version recently passed FCC testing and it will be the next Nexus.

Regarding the launch of this mythical Nexus phone, there have been reports that the release may fall mid-November.
