OnePlus officially confirms the ‘OnePlus Pad’ tablet launching on February 7

A couple of hours ago, we came across a first set of leaked official renders of the OnePlus Pad tablet, which has been rumored for quite some time. Finally, OnePlus has officially confirmed its first ever Android tablet today. The OnePlus Pad sporting a “Halo Green” color, will launch on February 7 alongside the recently introduced OnePlus 11, and the upcoming OnePlus 11R.

The company has started teasing the OnePlus Pad on its official website, saying “smooth without equal,” also hinting to us that it might feature a high refresh rate display.

OnePlus Pad tablet is built from an aluminum body, carrying a slightly cambered frame along the sides. OnePlus seemingly made this design to ensure the tablet was made to ensure the tablet was comfortable to hold for long hours.

The OnePlus Pad sits on an 11.6-inch display, which is surrounded by uniform bezels. OnePlus has allotted the upper-right edge spot for the front facing camera will for making video calls possible when holding the tablet in landscape orientation. On the back side, the rear camera setup is aligned in a large circular island, which is located in its central location rather than the more typical corner position. There is no word yet if the tablet will be offered with a single or dual rear camera system.

We still don’t have any of the specifications of the OnePlus Pad, except about its 11.6-inch display. To recall, the OPPO Pad has an 11-inch 2.5K LCD screen and there is also another tablet called, the OPPO Pad Air, which has a 10.36″ 2K display.

The rumors and leaks will likely detail full specifications as we draw closer to the OnePlus Pad’s unveiling so stay tuned. There is also no word yet on the pricing of this tablet. We hope it could very well be aimed at budget conscious shoppers rather than those looking for a compact Android premium flagship tablet.
