As we predicted earlier, the Chinese manufacturer has launched its latest mid-range specced Oppo Reno8 T 5G in India. Yesterday, it was launched in the Philippines, alongside the 4G-only Reno8 T handset with different chipset inside.
The Oppo Reno8 T 5G packs a 6.7” 10-bit OLED curved display of Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It has 2.5D curved sides, and its display can transmit up to 950 nits peak brightness. The handset’s display is protected by Dragontrail-Star2 glass. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC with 8GB of RAM and RAM expansion.
For camera optics, it arrives with has 108MP AF camera and an f/1.7 aperture along with two more camera modules. The Other two units are a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro cam. Around the front, it trades a huge 32MP selfie camera, which is located in a centered punch hole.
The 4,800 mAh battery on this battery has SuperVOOC fast-charging technology, that charges 100% in under 45 minutes with 67W charging speeds. Oppo claims the device also has proprietary Battery Health Engine technology that increases charge cycles to 1,600 (double the industry average of just 800 recharges).
