We’re just a few months away from the officially unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Alleged press renders, information about dimensions, camera configurations of the Galaxy S23 lineup have already been leaking over the internet in the past few weeks. There’s still more information flowing in about this series to keep Samsung fans excited.
Thanks to the reliable source Digital Chat Station, we now have a new leak revealing battery capacity and display size about the vanilla model of the Galaxy S23 series.
DCS claims that the Galaxy S23 will be shipping with 6.1-inch flat flexible OLED screen which offers FHD+ resolution, which is similar size as the predecessor vanilla Galaxy S22 model. The source hasn’t tipped any information about the refresh rate and LTPO technology used for the Galaxy S23 screen. leaked press renders reveal there won’t be ay notch on the screen.
DCS shared another information that the Galaxy S23’s battery will probably be a little bigger than the Galaxy S22’s 3,700mAh battery at 3,900mAh. That’s just 200mAh bigger than the Galaxy S22’s battery. Of you remember the Galaxy S21 was launched with a much bigger 4,000mAh battery in 2020. The tipster also claimed the charging speed of the Galaxy S23 will reside at 25W. Previous leaks also suggested the same battery capacity and 3C China website has certified the Galaxy S23 with 25W charger.
According to the tipster, the Galaxy S23 will offer good value with improved endurance than the Galaxy S22 with a slightly larger battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Galaxy S23 should be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the coming months.
