Samsung Galaxy S4 now up for pre-order at $199 on contract with AT&T

It is already known that AT&T will start taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone on April 16, which is today. Besides the carrier, according to leaked Staples launch roadmap, other US Wireless carriers such as T-Mobile and Verizon will also be offering the smartphone in May.

Now, the pre-order page of the smartphone has been listed on the official website of the carrier, AT&T. The 16GB version of the smartphone is up for pre-order at $199 with a two year contract agreement. The smartphone will be available for $639 without contract so that the device can be used on any GSM network.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will also be available for $449 with one year contract agreement. From the pre-order page, it has been confirmed that the device will hit the stores starting from April 30. Black and White are the color variants of the smartphone.

T-Mobile already confirmed that May 1 will be the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S4. Another US carrier, Verizon will start to carry the smartphone on May 30.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and it sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2600mAh battery, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will also be heading to South Korea and it will be priced at 899000 won. The device will likely be up for pre-order on April 19.
