According to an updated Verizon Equipment Guide, the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS powered Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset will hit Verizon stores on December 9th and users will be getting a system update within the first few hours of activating.

Both Bell and Virgin Mobile networks will start selling the first Android 4.0 phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus from December 7th and there will be half price offer on Galaxy Nexus accessories on the same day only. Best Buy Bay and Dundas locations will also offer the handset on December 7h for $159.99 with a new 3-year contract.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-i9250T has been approved by FCC, which is sporting the AT&T’s 3G bands – GSM 850/1900 and WCDMA II/IV. The handset may also be heading to Canada based Telus network or Mexico based Telcel network.
