New reports suggest that Apple has ordered more than 10 million units for the fourth quarter of this year which is double times the order placed by Amazon for the same quarter for its Kindle Fire tablet. Apple’s huge order might point to a huge demand expectations.

Unconfirmed sources have reported that Apple plans to announce the next-gen iPhone and the iPad mini at a media event on September 12th. And the iPhone 5 will go on sale on September 21st. It is also said that next gen iPod nano and Touch will also make an appearance on Sep 12.
