Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s Olive Green Variant Spotted Ahead of Launch

Xiaomi has already announced the upcoming release of their flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which will be launched on April 18 in China. It has come to light that Leica’s CEO Matthias Harsch was seen with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship smartphone. Prior to the launch, a bunch of official renders of the device leaked online, generating a lot of excitement and anticipation among smartphone enthusiasts. It is expected that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will come with top-of-the-line features and specifications, as well as advanced mobile imaging capabilities.

Leica’s mobile business vice president Marius Eschweiler shared a social media post recently, indicating that he and Leica’s CEO Matthias Harsch paid a visit to Xiaomi HQ in Beijing. The purpose of the visit was to discuss their strategic cooperation in mobile imaging and future research and development plans with Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. This visit came just ahead of the upcoming launch of Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone.

If you keenly observe the images from the Leica Xiaomi meeting, you can notice that the new green smartphone held by Leica CEO Matthias Harsch has a unique and stylish design. The rear lens module appears to blend seamlessly into the phone’s body without protruding prominently, giving it a sleek and sophisticated look. The curved edges of the phone’s back panel further add to its aesthetic appeal. According to leaks, this green smartphone is likely the olive-colored edition of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

As per the images, the front panel of the phone has a centered punch-hole display. The chin of the phone seems to be slightly thicker than the other sides. The volume and power buttons can be seen on the right edge of the device. The SIM card tray is located on the left side of the phone. The phone’s middle frame also features a micro-chamfer design.

Leica is a renowned German company known for manufacturing high-quality cameras and optical lenses. Recently, Leica terminated its partnership with Huawei and joined hands with Xiaomi to enhance the camera capabilities of their flagship smartphones. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, developed with the expertise of Leica, is expected to feature some of the most advanced camera systems in the market. Leica has previously contributed to producing cutting-edge smartphone cameras, including the camera system of Huawei P50 Pro, which was lauded for its exceptional performance.
