Xiaomi Pad 6 and Band 8’s Launch Date Tipped

Xiaomi made two major announcements this week. Yesterday, the company revealed that it is set to launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra on April 18. Today, Xiaomi announced that it will also release two additional products alongside the smartphone – the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Band 8.

Based on the teaser poster released by Xiaomi, it appears that the upcoming Xiaomi Band 8 will maintain its previous long oval shape with a narrow frame runway screen. However, there will be several strap options available, including ones made from different materials. The bracelet strap version of the Band 8 will have narrower lugs compared to the wide strap variant, which gives it a more streamlined appearance.

According to another teaser poster, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will come in three colors: white, green, and gray. The tablet appears to have a slim design with a metal body and a large display with thin and uniform bezels. The front-facing camera is located on one of the bezels, while the dual camera setup is on the back, featuring a 50MP primary camera. Unfortunately, there are no further details on the Pad 6’s specifications or features at this time. We’ll have to wait for Xiaomi’s official announcement to learn more.

It will be interesting to see what features and specifications the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will offer compared to its predecessors. Xiaomi has been known for its affordable yet powerful devices, and it’s likely that the Pad 6 will follow in this tradition. With the addition of stylus and keyboard support, it may also attract those who are looking for a more versatile and productive device.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 features uniform bezels around the display, a dual-camera setup with a 50MP camera on the back, and a power button on the top. The tablet also boasts four speakers and a volume rocker on the right-side frame, with a USB-C port flanked by two speakers at the bottom.

While it is speculated that Xiaomi may launch both Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, it remains unclear which of these is depicted in the teaser poster. Nonetheless, we can expect Xiaomi to reveal more details in the days leading up to the event, further fueling the excitement and anticipation among fans.
