Reports suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip installed in the Xperia 1 V will have the same clock speed as the regular version, but it will have customized image processing capabilities that are tailored to Sony’s specifications. To recall, the recently released Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 features an overclocked version of the chip called “For Galaxy”.
